HSG Operations Director Appointed To Lead Further Growth

Award-winning washroom services and water conservation specialists HSG have appointed David Tainton as Operations Director to lead the company through its next stage of expansion.
Mr Tainton has held senior operational and technological strategic positions at several major companies including Capital One, Sky UK, Egg and Pendragon and joins the Derby-based HSG at a pivotal point in its 12-year history.
HSG managing director Simon Rice explained: “David’s experience in both operational change and digital transformation will be crucial to ensure effective growth across all aspects of the business as we broaden our geographical reach and increase our employee numbers.
“We have grown rapidly in recent years – particularly since being recognised with The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2018 for our Ureco washroom water conservation system.
“Businesses’ desire to reduce water consumption, save money and improve the washroom experience by adopting Ureco continues to grow with environmental sustainability remaining at the top of the agenda for businesses across all industry sectors.
“We are also growing our washroom services customer base due to increased recognition throughout the pandemic that clean, well-stocked workplace washrooms are a top priority for the health and wellbeing of staff, customers and visitors.
“Finally, our latest innovation, Cleen, which enables venues to monitor and improve washroom standards through customers’ digital feedback, is on the upward trajectory as part of this new workplace culture.”
David Tainton concluded: “HSG has always punched above its weight to become a market leader in the highly competitive washroom services and water conservation industry.
“The company’s values of innovation, flexibility and customer service have laid solid foundations for the next stage in its development and growth and I am excited to be part of the next chapter for HSG.”
