Derby Networking club
Face to face

There’s something about Laura.

Some people just make the world a better place.

I’ve known Laura for a number of years, we first met over at the Derby Conference Centre at the networking breakfast she co-hosts. The Derby Networking Club.

We’ve done business together via the various companies we’ve both worked for but this isn’t about her in her roles..
This is about.. Her!

The business world is an interesting place. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great place, but there is a lot of bravado, a lot of posturing and sometimes you can get lost in this world of what essentially boils down to hustle and bullshit.

People like Laura are the antidote to this.

She is a refreshing change, the alka seltzer to the business hangover…

Laura brings an energy to a room, a situation, a thought process that others don’t. She is a listener, rather than just a person who is waiting their turn to speak. She is a ‘Do what she says’ she’ll do’ type of person, she is an introducer, a sharer and a real out the box thinker.
She is also sharp as razor. Bright minded and confident so if you are lucky enough to be in conversation with her, be on her team or have her as your account manager you know life is going to start going your way.

Laura has an incredibly diverse skill set. MD quality business acumen, she’s a people person, hitting all the account manager tick list, interesting and expert presenter, negotiator and deal closing business developer and loyal to her core. This is why she’s the ideal person to have in your network. She is a business changer.

If you are looking to do business in and around Derby, Laura is definitely a connection you want to make.
